Last night the Denham Springs High School "Jackets Against Destructive Decisions" Club presented their 11th Annual Prom Fashion Show. The theme for the show was "The Magic Of MOTOWN". Here are a few pictures from last night's show and a few videos. Enjoy!

Prom Fashion Show Tonight

"Jackets Against Destructive Decisions" Club

The JADD Club spent the weekend getting the Jackets Gym prepared for their Prom Fashion Show this Monday Night at 7 p.m.  The JADD Club has done this show for eleven years and last year they were recognized by winning Club of the Year by the National Association Of SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving.) This years theme is "MOTOWN". It promises to be a good show with entertainment, fashion and fun. The show starts at 7 p.m. so get their early. Seating is limited and it is usually a sell out crowd. Here are some pictures of the students preparing this weekend.

The Livingston Parish Master Gardeners hosted a plant clinic at the Livingston Parish Farmers Market.

Students Present Senior Projects
At Denham Springs High

Denham Springs High School completes first year for Senior Projects. Seniors were required to complete a four step process including a research paper, a portfolio, a product and presentation throughout their senior year culminating in a presentation of what they learned to a panal of community leaders to be judged.

Andrea Matherne, one of Mrs. Ann Kemp's Seniors, presents her Senior Project on Psycho-Somatic Disorders.

Jordan Severio's project was the making of business signs. He created an original sign for his "product" for the Senior Project presentation.
